Samyra’s Christmas gift
Two years ago Samyra was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor. Doctors were able to surgically remove the tumor but it left her paralyzed and she had to endure months of rehabilitation. She was also treated with radiation and chemotherapy. This year she had a special request. Her father is currently on active duty in the Army. They have not spent the holidays together for three years.
We were able to fly Samyra and her mother out to Kansas to spend Christmas as a family. They had the best week ever because they were able to spend it together.
