One thing they don’t tell you about childhood cancer is that it affects the entire family. Our friend Namaan and his family, unfortunately, understand this all too well. Unfortunately, Namaan was not able to go to the zoo. With Mother’s Day approaching, we made sure that we still gave his mother and sister a much-needed break from the day-to-day trials of pediatric cancer. The two of them were able to get fresh air & share a special mother/daughter day at the zoo.
